Actually this setback is the result of that mistake.  Which was a surprising decision taken by RCB in view of the preparations for IPL Season Seventeen.

Because the RCB management had considered the commodity champion player unfit and released him from the team even before the option of IPL Season Seventeen, now the same player has made a strong comeback in international cricket.  Let us tell you that Wanindu Hasaranga, the former world number one in T-Twenty cricket and Sri Lanka's champion spin bowler, has made an excellent comeback in international cricket after about five months and Indu Hasaranga created a ruckus in his comeback match for Sri Lanka against Zimbabwe.  Has taken seven wickets giving only nineteen runs.

This is the best performance of Wanindu Hasaranga's ODI career, although the third ODI match of the series played between Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka was affected by rain,

But despite this, Hasaranga proved in the match why he is counted among the top bowlers of world cricket.  The magic of Hasaranga's spin was such that Zimbabwe's entire innings was limited to only ninety-six runs, while in reply, Sri Lanka achieved this easy target at the loss of two wickets in just sixteen point four overs.

Wanindu Hasaranga will now be seen playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL season seventeen.  There was doubt about Hasaranga's fitness in the auction due to which RCB did not bid again on Hasaranga.

Wanindu Hasaranga had made his IPL debut for RCB in 2021, during the IPL option in 2022, but Hasaranga was bought by RCB for a hefty bid of Rs 10 crore seventy-five lakh.  Has thirty-five wickets in his twenty-six matches played.

While Hasaranga is considered a specialist bowler in T-Twenty cricket, Hasaranga is adept at playing big shots while batting in the lower order.

Wanindu Hasaranga could not start the ODI World Cup played last year in 2023 due to injury, but now Hasaranga has returned to international cricket, he is also included in the upcoming 2024 T20 World Cup, making a strong comeback in the Sri Lankan team.  Although even before Wanindu Hasaranga will be seen playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the next season of IPL Seventeen.  Apparently, after seeing Hasaranga's comeback in international cricket, RCB is now regretting their decision.
